The big Friday Night LIVE Football unveil goes down August 13 during LIVE Rock Cats baseball against Trenton. Rock Cats Ryan Carpenter shut down Binghamton less than a week after he could not get past the fourth inning.

The Rock Cats could not hold a lead built by the left arm of Harrison Musgrave on Friday night. New Britain led Reading 3-2 in the 5th inning in a game that aired LIVE on CPTV Sports. Musgrave allowed two runs on seven hits and was on track for the victory until the bullpen gave up four more runs.
Jayson Langfels, who recently returned from illness to the Rock Cats lineup, picked up an RBI triple. Colton Murray did not allow any base-runners in three innings of relief. He received the win for Reading.
