CIAC Hockey Championships

Notre Dame-West Haven dominated Glastonbury 5-0 to win its seventh CIAC Division I hockey title March 17 at Ingalls Rink In New Haven. Earlier that day, Newington/Berlin defeated Northwest Catholic 2-1 in the Division III final. March 16, Trumbull scored five third-period goals to defeat Branford 5-3 in the Division II final at Ingalls.

CPTV Sports was on hand at the D-I semifinals March 14 as Glastonbury pulled off the upset of the high school season, knocking out top-seeded Fairfield Prep 5-4 at Ingalls We also were at Northwest's win in the CCC East final and Newington/Berlin's win in the CCC South. Those games also will be replayed in upcoming days.

Notre Dame-West Haven was No. 1 in the final New Haven Register coaches-media poll of the season.

The Connecticut High School Coaches Association announced its All-State team March 13.
