2010 CIAC Class L Boy’s State High School Volleyball Championship – Southington vs. Staples

WEST HARTFORD- For the first time in four state championshp meetings, the Southington Blue Knights were able to top the Staples Wreckers and win the Class L Boy's Volleyball state title, 3-2.

Southington, who had lost the previous three title games to Staples, also ended the Wreckers 101 match winning streak.

Brendan Cheramut, who was named MVP, finished with 23 kills and 3 blocks, including the game winning point.
