2009 CIAC Class S State High School Baseball Championship – Stafford vs. Notre Dame-Fairfield

MIDDLETOWN- Notre Dame-Fairfield used a potent offense and a great pitching effort from Chris Alberto to beat Stafford and win the Class S Baseball state championship, 11 to 1.

Notre Dame-Fairfield jumped out front early on Stafford, and never looked back, in picking up the win.

Alberto got into several jams throughout the game, but managed to yield just one run to give Notre Dame-Fairfield, the Class S crown.
